Agreed. If anything, they should have replaced Dr. Forrester with Dr. Bobo and left the SOL orbiting the Planet of the Apes. Pearl was a bad character badly written and badly acted.

True, but I don’t think anyone watched for Dr. Forrester, Pearl, Bobo, etc. It was the lame ass movies that got me, and I’m sure everyone else too.

True, we came for the movies, but Pearl was bad enough to sometimes make me skip the show entirely. I never missed a pre-Pearl episode, but there must be at least a dozen post-Pearl that I’ve never even seen.

He get’s props for almost killing Duke, and yeah, the show was only a front for whoring toys to impressionable youths, but I personally couldn’t stand him.
I vote David Schwimmer’s monkey on “Friends”…pointless.
Yeah Screech and Urkel were annoying as hell…but they were big parts of their show, how can they be the “worst” characters? For example, in Saved by the Bell, I’d vote for Tori (anyone remember her? Pointless pre-Jessica character).

Well, how about Stephanie on Full House? The adults were all the best characters, and of course people were into the Olsen twins. Even DJ had some teenage angst type plot lines…but Stephanie??? Useless.
