2nd show was much funnier. Gotta love a show that will make fun of a stutterer.

Anyway yeah this is actually a good show. Suprised me twice fox. Once with the O.C. and second with this…if only tru calling were better fox would have one hell of a triple threat.
She doesn’t stutter. Don’t know about the latter charge…

I actually liked the second episode more. i liked that the talking objects played less of a role in it and it was just about the characters. The copycat storyline was a bit all over the place, but well acted and fun to watch.
Unfortunately, its becoming clearer and clearer that this show really has no chance. It could have been another Ally McBeal for fox but I think its too high minded.
There’s a hole in this show where funny is supposed to be, sandwiched between “quirky” and “low key.”
Saw it. Loved it.

Just a quick note to say “thanks” to everyone who took up the cause of continuing the buzz for “Wonderfalls.”
Friday nights continue to be tough on Fox. The Friday night numbers seem to have dropped – not just our numbers, but our lead-in as well. However there is some good news to report. The encore of our pilot on Thursday actually posted slightly better numbers than its original Friday airing. The significance of this should not be underestimated. This never happens, that a repeat does better than a premiere. Especially considering that there was very little actual promotion for this repeat; it was a last minute decision, and wasn’t even listed in most TV Guides.
I suspect a certain awareness was generated by your efforts, so again thanks for that.
I’ve got no idea if this is the real Tim Minear, but if so…that’s pretty cool. Welcome to the message boards, and I hope your show gets a chance to move away from the Friday Death Slot of Doom as soon as possible. I’m looking forward to seeing where the plot goes next.
I watched the pilot again just for the commentary.
I still haven’t seen Ep. 2, if school wasn’t assualting me in the large gaping hole near my bottom, I would have watched it a long time ago. Thank god for Tivo.

I caught the replay of the pilot and the second episode, and like the show so far. It seems to me that the first few episodes are kinda designed to fast-forward into our heroine’s life and why we’re supposed to care about her. As such, I get the feeling that whatever arcs are planned for the series won’t really get started until a few episodes in. Anyhow, if that’s the case, I like Jaye and would dig seeing how she deals with her life being turned upside down by her new “friends.”
That said, I don’t know how long this sort of show would hold my interest if it sort of bops along episodically in that status-quo TV pattern. But I’m giving it a chance, certainly.

Sigh. It’ll be a fight. I’m hoping that the critical response will do me more good on that front, and also the fact that I planned for the contingency. It’s 13 episodes with a resolve to the arc and a feeling of closure of sorts in the last episode. It would make a goddamn great 13 hours of DVD entertainment.
I was hoping for a Northern Exposure style show, but got something a little whacked out, with over the top acting from supporting people. It’s alright, and I’ll watch it, wasn’t what I was really hoping for though.
On a tangent, any channels show Northern Exposure anymore? At like 3 AM or something.
Looks like they are gonna be testing it out on Thursday night next week. Hopefully it will get good ratings.

Great episode tonight, I had to tape it because I actually leave the house friday nights, but yeah it was damn good. Glad their switching it to thursday, god knows people would rather watch this than fucking Tru Calling, ugh.
