I’m sure at somepoint or another throughout your life you’ve wondered what it would be like to bring something back in exchange to get rid of something else. In this case, I’m referring to television shows - if you could travel back in time(no matter the year)and bring back 4 tv shows you loved that were cancelled.. then which 4 tv shows would take their place on the cancellation block?

While I miss John Doe, I miss the first several episodes, once they started being brutal to women and killing them off left and right I wained on the show
I do miss the nudy bar songs & N O’ M A A M Meetings. As a matter of fact, my first (official) time to a nudy bar I pulled a nudy bar quote out of my ass (the show was topical then).

I liked the one where aliens were stealing Al’s socks and using them as fuel for their spaceship. I trade that one episode for every program currently on television. Goddamn that was funny.

I also support Al’s turn on COPS “FLOOR IT DANO!” and the Film Noir episode “How many locked bathrooms are in this city?”
That was another good episode. Damn shame they didn’t get the rights to “Love and Marriage” for the dvds though. Plus the one where he fights the beer tax and takes on local street toughs were also good ones.

Deadwood (Two seasons and a fire that destroys everything, that’s all)
The Invisible Man
Sleeper Cell (They were about to get Jack Bauer)
Wonderfalls
Cancel:
I’d give back the two seasons of Rome we got for the two extra seasons of Deadwood, but somehow incorporate McKidd and Stevenson.
I’d trade every SCIFI ‘orginal’ ever created for three more seasons of The Invisible Man.
I’d trade The Tudors for more Sleeper Cell, bring on Rhys Davies as a CIA agent.
I’d trade Wonderfalls for Ghost Whisperer, and it can take Medium down with it.

The show just hit a great stride in season 5 and it had momentum to keep going for a few more seasons, thus the hasty demise.
Invisible Man was one of my favorite shows and I was bummed to see it go, I agree with that one but have you checked out Eureka? That’s an original show that I’d put on par with Invisible Man so far as greatness.
