Paul Feig is joining the writing staff for season 5 and Toby is now an executive producer. Sweet.
I misread the title as Lost Season 5 Discussion (don’t ask how, I’m not sure), good thing that show isn’t getting a spin-off.
Back to The Office, bring on season 5. I hope Amy Ryan is part of the cast.

That’s incredibly interesting and would make for a good special. Not a series. But then it would probably ruin the show because you’d overthink the style of it.
They’re really missing out on not doing hobo version of Kung Fu with Creed as the spin-off.

Feig is already on my Man Crush list for Freaks & Geeks, so this is great news. He also has been directing some episodes of Mad Men. Also, if you haven’t read his books, Kick Me and Superstud, get thee to an Amazon!

I thought it was really good but I’m mostly happy that we got a payoff on the Jim-Pam engagement so fast. I was worried we were going to get the rote “Jim shows up just as the kid who has a crush on Pam impulsively kisses her” thing.
Angela’s talking head and Dwight saying they shouldn’t be eating cake in the sex room were great bits.
