When this show first came out, it was quite hated. Now it’s everybodies favorite show. The power of Dwight compells us.

yeah, it’s 8:30 EST. Which is good because now I can finally TiVo CSI and the Office.
Screw Grey’s Anatomy.
After marathoning season two, I cannot wait for this goodness tonight.

Me too. I can’t believe I’m so excited about finding out what happens with Pam and Jim. I’m such a girl.
God I love this show. I also marathoned season 2 in anticipation. Can’t wait for more Dwight.

It’s back and it’s as great as ever.
The really obvious “missing each other” stuff with Jim and Pam was absolutely atrocious. Otherwise, right back on track. The kiss was deliciously awkward. And Ed Helms looks solid.
Holy cow, that was hilarious. I was crying the last 10 minutes of the show. And when Dwight gets the Gaydar Gun from Jim in the mail at the end…priceless.

I love the show, but aare they ever going to acknowledge the fact that they are on a reality show? Like the fact that the entire country will see Pam and Jim’s kiss? I pretty sure they did on the British version…
I did not see it coming that Jim would actually take the transfer to another office. This show never seems to “wrap things up” with cliche sitcom things or take easy routes. Good stuff.

Actually, I think “hetero” was on the far end of the reader, homo was on the end by the handle, and of course…“bi” in the middle.
I love this show more than anyone else, but tonight was just…too mean.
I understand that they were playing up the fact that Michael is this filterless infant, but there has to be a line that his character can’t cross without him losing a lot of his charm. Tonight, it wasn’t even calling everyone ‘Faggy’ since grade school that did the damage. It was the complete lack of recognition or understanding that he had done irreparable damage to someone he works with daily in very close proximity. There was no apology until his own feelings were hurt. Much like the Christmas episode last year, this is a stain on Michael, and they’re going to need a very strong, humanizing effort in the very next episode to strike a better balance (a la Booze Cruise), or risk turning the patriarch of what is essentially a family unit into an all-out villain. No matter how bastardly George Sr. was on Arrested Development, he always fought for his family, and that made him loveable even through his mild-treason.
Oscar earns my undying love for closing that door and not letting Michael retreat to go sulk. It was a nice little moment for the character, and I think representative that the minor characters are going to be the ones that hold the fractured family system that this Office is for the time being.
Still very funny at times, but there is just a really bad taste in my mouth

Keep in mind, when they acknowledged it on the British version, the show had already “aired”.

But this is the start of the third season. Surely some of this version has “aired” as well.
My fav bit had to be the girl commenting on Jim’s glances “He’s always glancing at the camera. What’s up with that?” Her impression was dead on. Creed commenting on his 60’s love experiences was a close second.

Still, I think I agree with this. There were tons of hilarious moments, but that really seemed stinging. It’s a credit, I suppose, to the actor who plays Oscar, who really played that uncomfortably real.
I thought it was a great episode. The gaydar bit at the end was good, and was that Ed Helms that was flipping out?
