There will be 2 The O.C. behind the scenes specials.
“The O.C.: Obsess Completely” will air at 8 p.m. Sept. 16 with “Welcome to The O.C.: A Day in the Life” set for broadcast during the same time slot Sept. 23, New York Daily News reported.
A spokesperson for the show confirmed that Modest Mouse, the Walkmen and the Killers are all scheduled to grace Orange County’s sunny shores this season, which begins November 5. The Walkmen and the Killers have already taped their appearances.
And if you were unfortunate to miss the first season the DVD comes out October 26th

I’vee heard some minor spoiles but I’ll refrain from putting them on her as I hate spoilers. The Season is a while away but there is some stuff soon to wet the appetite.
i do like this show. Thanks to some schedule shifting I will actually be able to watch it somewhat consistently again.
But i forget easily, what the hell happened in the end? Someone was pregnant? Marissa’s dad ruined another business? I have a very hazy memory of what happened.
Theresa was pregnant and it could be Eddie’s or Ryan’s. Ryan left to be with because if the kid is his he won’t abandon the kid like his father did.
Marissa’s dad(Jimmy) and Seth’s dad(Sandy) went into the resturant business but sold it to Caleb when they couldn’t get a liquor liscense. Bult Caleb went behind their back to sell it for much more and actually blocked the liquor liscense. Jimmy did get a couple million out of the deal and is back financially.
Julie married Caleb for his money and now Caleb is in serious money and legal trouble.
Seth and Summer and relationship trouble because Summer’s dad didn’t like Seth. When Ryan leaves Seth takes it very hard and takes his sailboat on a trip for the summer.
Marissa made a promise to live with her mom and has started drinking vodka again. She’s taking Ryan leaving hard too. Seth also blamed Marissa and her problems for Ryan leaving.
Sandy and Kirsten had a great scene at the end together w/ Kirsten breaking down over Ryan leaving.
Ryan (BENJAMIN McKENZIE) returns from Chino on the smash “The O.C.” But the question is how: Does it turn out that Theresa’s (NAVI RAWAT) baby is not his, or does she lose it, or is there a completely new twist? Also Seth (ADAM BRODY) returns from his solo sail on the high seas. According to exec producer JOSH SCHWARTZ, “The summer with their absences has torn this community apart, torn these families apart and everything will have to be rectified and rebuilt once they’ve returned.”
I love this freaking show. They had a pretty wild finale that’s STILL in my TiVo. I plan on rewatching it before the premiere. Everything kinda fell apart for each of the characters in the end, so getting to see them rebuild (instead of starting the season after everything’s back to normal) sounds interesting.
I started watching The O.C. about halfway through last season and now I’m a total Seth Cohen whore. Summer still gets on my nerves occasionally, and Marissa always comes across as a bit of a whiner, but that’s what I want out of this kind of show. I’m still pissed that they’ve pushed the season premiere off to freaking November, but whatever. I’ll deal.

Fox hates showing reruns unless it’s f’n that 70’s show. Buy the DVD when it comes out. It is so worth it.
I hope they don’t kill Caleb. Sandy needs a bad guy to play off against.

It’s still a bad move on their part. Could have picked up a lot of new viewers and pleased those that missed episodes. It’s not like they were showing anything else worthy of watching this summer.

I disagree. I’m actually looking forward to having good entertainment every single week when it’s snowing outside and I’m locked up looking for something to entertain me.
