I was shocked that Nick wasn’t the fired one, because even though he has a lot of potential, you can’t just give up because you don’t like what your boss did (well you can, but that’s the equivalent of a "you’re fired!"Wink.
I believe that Trump doesn’t fire on the basis of their work in the mission, but judges them on the potential to run his company.
Oh why oh why do we have to deal with Omarosa for another week? The girl who got kicked off seems like a real nice person, perhaps too nice for the business world she was angling for. But after this episode, I’m getting the feeling that Nick is going to take this thing. He just screams “Trump Jr.”
The only good looking one (to show that business success doesn’t only mean good looking people) is the tall chick whose name I can’t figure. Part of Versacorp I believe. She looks like a lady here at work, yowza.
Oh and did anyone see the previews for next week? The reaction when the O woman came into the room was priceless. Though I must wonder, how damn good at business are you when you cannot properly control your reaction upon seeing circumstances you don’t like?
Yeah, I can’t believe Onimusha scraped by last week. The preview made it look like she starts talking smack as soon as she walks in and gets the big reaction. I can kinda see why whatsherbeans got fired. Who keeps $1000 in their back pocket? What the hell?
Nice to see Nick pick all the hot girls for his team, way to go! I bet the “romance” will be Nick and Katrina, they looked like they wanted to jump on each other during the mission.
What a crap decision by trump. Goodbye to one of my favorite people just to keep Omarosa there to stir things up. So after poor Jessie gets reamed by the big O, Trump has to go fire her for not being as much of a jerk?? Stupid.
Troy is really a great player. That move with putting his belt in his pocket to strike up a conversation with the Fab Five was genius.
And Omarosa and Tammy should both not only be fired but shot into the sun.
I can’t say I shed any tears over the firing of Jesse, but Jesus Christ! Omarosa is like a cockroach. She simply will not die. If Omarosa somehow manages to win this thing, you can count on my ass skipping Apprentice 2.
No way the big O wins it all, but some of these players are just dead meatt in the board room. Trump doesn’t appear to like whiny passive women if his last two firings are any indication of his true feelings.
Their task this week really played to Troy’s strengths, and I’m sure that he made a bundle of money selling people on mortgages. I loved how he went in there and sold that designer after Jessie stumbled around yammering about something inane. Tammy was also terrible. I can’t believe that they still took her to Regis after that.
Jessie needed to get out. She had the most annoying voice, and that was my biggest beef with her, but just like last week, Trump showed that he didn’t want a pushover in charge of his company. Onimusha will be gone the next time Protege gets pulled into the boardroom (next week?).
Originally posted by Matt GoldbergHopefully Protege will wise-up and put Omarosa in charge thereby putting her in a better position to get her ass kicked to the curb.
That was the intention.
Trump wanted to fire Omarosa, he truly did. He verbally slammed her pretty hard for the remarks she made. But as stated before, he waits to hear you slit your own throat, which Jesse clearly did. Why in the hell would you say that you like someone (then defend them AGAIN) that bad mouths you like a piece of dog shit. Is that someone you would want to work for/under? Jesse came across like a total wuss.
What Jesse and that other chick should have done, was both climbed up on the table, smacked the fuck out of her a few times and then coily perched back on their heels and said..“Sorry. Was that not acceptable, Mr. Trump?”
Heh..well, not really, but that would have made for some outstanding television.
Ho-lee crap, Omarosa has gone from being a bitch to being a flat-out cunt. Man, I hate that word but there’s nothing else to describe her. Pure evil. What a horrible, horrible person.
That was an awesome play by Troy with the Queer Eye guys. I hope he makes it to the end. Anyone know whereabouts in Montana he’s from? He mentioned he’s from Boise, ID by way of Montana. I know exactly zero people around here who have an accent like his.
Next week will be great. Can’t wait to see the reaction to O’s survival.
While I’ve only watched maybe two eps before last night, I will offer a prediction for next week’s episode: Omerosa hits the pavement.
She’s on a thin line - while I believe the reason she wasn’t fired last night is that she still has “hope”; that is if she took what Trump said to heart. If I were her, I’d approach Tammy (the other chick in the boardroom besides Omerosa and Jesse), ask her what she (O) could do to “soften” her image or better approach future employees. I’m serious. If she were to do that? She’d be golden.
As for who’s “golden”? That Troy guy; he’s the guy with the southern drawl that sealed/saved three deals last night, right? Amazing. He totally saved the Isaac Mizrahi debacle; a debacle that Jesse kept making worse. And as for Jesse’s firing? I’m all for it - I wouldn’t have her as a representative of MY company. Why? She can’t make command decisions and confuses “character” with wimpiness. I don’t need that. I don’t think anyone trying to move ahead in business would need or want that.
But yeah: Omerosa. What a amazing beeeeotch. And I believe she’s only got a problem with women as she seems to believe that “power” is only a masculine trait. And that’s why, IMO, she respects only the guys.
Although Troy is amazing, I really want Bill to win. This guy is just a really smart player, he simply knows how to do business, and how to do it right. He doesn’t get much screen time but hopefully in the coming weeks the spotlight will veer towards his direction.
Bill is truly amazing. He’s the best rounded contestant I’ve seen so far. Nick was great last week, but I’ve got concerns from Planet Hollywood. He seemed to do well with Bill as PM though, so maybe it depends.
As good as Troy was last night, you have to remember his background. As a mortgage guy, he’s just a big ticket salesman, and he showed how good he really was at it. He was able to step in and really work well with both the Fab Five and with Mizrahi, especially after Jesse botched things up with him. Mizrahi thought she was talking down to him, but that’s just how she always talks, and you can’t do much about it. Perhaps in Minnesota it works, but it doesn’t in New York.
My biggest surprise was how terribly they did with their ringers. If I was to bet on who would bring in the most money before the auction, I would have gone with Regis and Russell Simmons. Instead, both groups squandered their aces and had to make up the difference with their other packages. Quite frankly, the Fab Five package was also terrible, as was the Tiki Barber one. If you want rich people to really shell out, give them something they can’t normally get - the Mizrahi idea was a great example of that (and whoever got it really got a bargain).
Omaraso can’t even pronounce a name correctly after about 50 times.
Tammy is way out of her league with these other people. Suggestion: Keep your mouth closed. You won’t say anything stupid, and we won’t have to look at your ugly teeth.

The only reason she’s still there is because she’s never been on the losing team.
