Ah, I was hoping someone had started a thread on this. I am completely hooked.
I pretty much agree with everyone’s comments here.
Sam should have been booted from the get go but I feel Trump kept him around a little longer, more as an amusement. The glare Sam gave when he finally got canned was priceless. Yep..big O needs to get the boot next. That racial comment came out of left field and was so off the mark. She seemed to have settled down a bit in the last round, but she’s a control freak. Not the good kind.
These tests mean nothing, imo. They are just something to keep them all busy. If you notice, what Trump really listens for in the boardroom is something the intended boot says that makes it Trump’s deciding factor. Sure, he listens to how all of the team members interact, but he’s waiting for a kill line to come from any one of them.
The first guy, though he had an MD and a MB, stated that he did not feel comfortable being a leader. If you are wanting to be chosen to run a company, those are the last words that should be coming from your mouth to the very man hiring you for the job.
The second guy felt his team didn’t need to meet with the very people that were hiring them for the ad campaign. It was important to know what they envisioned. His reason was a timing issue. Bad choice. I thought their campaign was good.
I wish the women would use their brains instead of their constantly using the sex sells approach. It’s a cheap shot to succeed, and not rightly fair to the men in the competition. Dressing up like stewardesses for their ad campaign made it even cheaper. Set the women’s movement back? Oh, yes.
The third guy…well…it’s Sam, afterall. Loose cannon. Never let anyone else get a word or thought in edgewise. I believe Trump fired him mainly because he pleaded for respect, but never once earned it. I think Trump called it when he asked Sam if he felt he was chosen as leader just so the others could watch him fail. Again. It worked.
Great show. I’m loving it.
