I’ll say it now: Duckman sucks in general. Always has, always will. Fuck Klasky-Csupo and their assy animation.

That one was on last night. Dib’s story is retarded, but still a decent episode.

I can’t believe there is a BSG discussion in this thread without a mention of “Black Market.”

Whoa now, let’s not start saying stupid things here.

Lost - S.O.S. I really don’t need another Kate or Sawyer flashback, but Rose and Bernard?

The Sopranos - It’s a bit of a cliche, but the Test Dream did go on for several minutes too long. It did set up maybe the best two episodes of the series, though.

Not The Wire. Some episodes may be more subdued than others, but just plain bad or shitty? No.

Agree on the Wire, and I’d say Deadwood has also been consistently spectacular throughout its run. The middle of the seasons tend to be the slowest, but that’s just because they always open and close phenomenally.

I wouldn’t go that far. “In Excelsis Deo” is cringingly awful, and doesn’t even have the excuse of post-9/11 trauma to justify its weirdness.

“They tied him to a tree and made him say Hail Mary while they threw rocks at his head!”

“Why are we getting ethics lessons from a hooker?”

In Excelsis Deo gets an automatic pass based on Mrs. L’s story about her kids dying in 'Nam and Richard Schiff’s performance alone.

The one that Edinburgh mentioned, “The Long Goodbye”, from season four, yeah, I’d forgotten about that one, too. That was a pretty pointless and worthless episode that should have just been titled “Alison Janney’s Emmy Reel.” (Also, Matthew Modine as 80s white-collar criminal turned French watchmaker? Whiskey tango foxtrot?)

As far as “Arrested Development”, I always skip over “Motherboy XXX”.

Yes, THE SIMPSONS has managed to suck consistently for years now, but back when it was still going mildly strong, that “Frank Grimes” episode was the real black sheep for me. I’ve heard some people love it, but as far as I’m concerned it’s the cruellest, most vile 30 minutes of TV I’ve ever seen. Just awful.

MOONLIGHTING was great, but whenever Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd were unavailable, they brought in Allyce Beasley and Curtis Armstrong as “replacements”. And holy shit did they ever suck. Their worst effort has to be the one where they investigate a poltergeist.

M*A*S*H had one particularly awful “dream” episode. I think “dream” episodes probably take the crowns in most of these Worst Ever contests.

While we’re on the subject of bad “dream” episodes, I really hated the Angel episode with the dream parasite.

And yet the dream episode of Buffy (Restless) is probably in my top 5 for that series.

Futurama: “Where the Buggalo Rome”

Can’t say whether or not I agree with you since it’s been a few years since I watched that episode, but I remember that the commentary track had me bent over with laughter.

Absolutely. What a horrible, horrible thing that was. Pretty sure Ron Moore in the commentary called that one out as a mistake.
I thought the recent Starbuck episode was pretty awful as well, actually.

There was an episode of Doctor Who last season called Love and Monsters that stands out as one of the worse things I have ever subjected myself to.

Weeks later, I’m still fuming at that Bai Ling episode of Lost.

Now them’s fightin’ words. Viva Cornfed!

In the Batman cartoon I never liked the episode with Zeus.

Really? I enjoyed that one quite a bit, what with the Burger King tie ins and shark jumping and Buster’s “It’s almost time for zip-up, and that’s a really long zipper. You have to get on your knees to start it.” I skip over Ready, Aim, Marry Me myself.

As far as BSG, I didn’t really mind the Kat episode. ‘Black Market’ was certainly a stinker, as was the recent ‘The Woman King’ ep concerning Helo. Meh.

Wow… Jurassic Bark AND The Sting are “clunkers”?!? Those are two solid examples displaying the heart and smarts that clearly elevated this series above many others. I think Futurama might not be the show for you, my friend.
