I abandoned this show last season but I will give it another chance. Before that, I will watch the finale soon. Lois looks great in that promo.
I can’t believe someone on CHUD watches Smallville.
During a very bizarre time, Smallville was the show everyone here watched while mocking how Supernatural looked. Good thing people realized what was up.
Smallville is awesomeness personified. Looking forward to the next season, LOVE the costume and all the upcoming action.
Welling isn’t as charismatic as the previous supermans but boy o boy did he nail the farmboy Clark, hopefully all the money he got to come back this season was invested in some acting classes so he can add something besides “concerned look” and “constipated”. (seriously, those are the only two looks he has, he’s like the Zoolander of of the CW).
LOL on the Zoolander comparison. This show is at the end of the pile for me among all the stuff I watch on regular basis. The “hotter than ever” was all about Lois,

Wow, I guess since he was wearing red and blue like every day as Clark Kent the color scheme just would be a bit conspicuous as Superman. That costume is pretty lame though. Moving your best rated show to Friday is a real genius move though.
I haven’t watched it in a couple of seasons and I heard they really shit the bed with the doomsday plotline last season. This does look like it could be fun, so maybe I’ll give it a look this season again.
It’s harmless. Often wildly entertaining one week and a complete pile of dung the next, I watch it mainly because I have a DVR. Smallville at 4AM when I’m not quite ready to pass out is a good match. It’s like HEROES without all the people pretending it’s really good.
I do think Smallville has a better cast than Superman Returns, though. Welling and Routh are mostly a wash, but Welling doesn’t come off as a celebrity impersonator. Durance is pretty much perfect for Lois, while Bosworth was terribly miscast. Spacey is Spacey, but his Lex was really let down by the writing, while Rosenbaum played a much deeper version quite well. Egads, I think Smallville is better written than Superman Returns as well… and that’s pathetic!

A JLA in its early stages TV show isn’t half bad idea if it’s done properly.
I always thought Smallville’s biggest asset is Lex Luthor and even though its an overall mediocre show every once and a while they’ll have pretty cool episodes. Sadly the filler episodes are terrible but its sadly still the best Superhero show on television (bits of Heroes Season 1 kicked its ass but then it just fell apart).
Applying the word “overacting” to what the guy playing Zod is doing just makes the word seem insufficient.
This show made a huge mistake in not making Welling wear glasses from the beginning. Well, that’s among the legion of huge mistakes. But that is one.

I apologise I meant Live Action and presently, I haven’t checked out Brave and Bold but I’ve heard its a fun retro kids show in the 60’s tv series style right? Most animated superhero shows kick Smallville’s ass easily,
Oh the subject of live action superhero shows, the 80’s Hulk show proberly has that crown.
The 70’s TV incarnation of Spider-Man was a hoot also. The score featured just as much wokka-doo wokka-doo guitar as you’d expect.
Actually, in the live action superhero series race, I’d probably go with The Flash, brief though its run was.

Among other reasons. Although I preferred her on Max Headroom, another show that didn’t get the run it deserved.
