Who really gives a what someone does in there private life. I mean really I am more worried about 400000 other things then if my neighbors might be a “gay couple”…
This should be a State by State problem, not a United States of George Bush problem.
Like I always tell people, this is a great indicator of just how may gay Republicans there are in this country. They don’t know how to accept themselves, so they just figure that they will attack those open with their sexuality.
Either that, or they’re just too damn stupid to know that the country has better things to deal with.

Watching the Frontline on both candidates was very enlightening. God, guns and gays was a big part of Bush’s win in Texas over Ann Richards. This is a natural extension of that campaign strategy taken to the Nth level.

I’m posting a new thread about it because new events have occured not directly related to the old events. Someone put up an idiotic billboard or pamphlets about gay marriage. That’s one thread. Someone making specific charges against other politicians in regard to this subject…that’s another thread. I’m sure you can follow along if you try really, really hard.
Rep. Nick Lampson takes money from homosexual activists and then votes their agenda in Congress. He has voted against the Marriage Protection Act and supports homosexual marriage- and even wants the taxpayer to subsidize homosexual immigration.
Well, that does it! I don’t want my tax dollars paying for those homosexual immigrants! Send them back to Fagistan!

This will make sense the second they stop divorcing their wives.
Meanwhile, my mother who wants to have the same rights as “normal married people” do, is waiting so she can get married to her soulmate. Catch is, she has MS and isn’t doing so well. SO she may possibly die before they get all this stupid shit straightened out. She wants everything to be legal and “recoginized” just like everyone else. I am at a loss as to why this is such a huge issue. If she gets married it won’t hurt anyone or cause others to turn gay. I just find it hard to believe that in this day and age that this is still an issue, when over 80% of my friend’s parents who are “normal” are divorced. Sacred my ass… Side note…my girlfriend’s father is in the same boat.
