Recurring Conan bits

There are currently three running bits on Conan that I find absolutely hilarious.

“Pierre Bernard’s Recliner of Rage” (in which the extremely stiff and nerdy art director rants about insanely esoteric stuff);

“The Walker, Texas Ranger Lever” (Taking advantage of the fact that, since the NBC/Universal merger, he can show “Walker” clips anytime he wants, and godDAMN that’s a bizarre show! One clip had him wearing a rocket pack!);

and the best of all, “Conan O’Brien Hates My Homeland” (They’ve decided the only way to determine which countries he’s broadcast in is to insult them all in aphabetical order and see which ones send him hate mail.)

Seriously, the writers on that show come up with bits that make me laugh just based on the concept.

conan o’brien hates my homeland is indeed one of the funniest things i’ve seen in awhile. such a subversive way of commenting on the terse political climate these days.

Conan is hilarious, but don’t sell Letterman short man…his most recent 4 am episode was quite ingenious, and his clips of George Bush doing crazy weird things are very clever as well.

God, I miss PimpBot.

"Feelin’ fine and cherrywine.

Got a high speed modem and a nickel-plated scrotum.

Don’t make me cut you, whitebread."

I always liked the Clutch Cargo bits with celebs. Also, the stamps are funny as well.

Conan’s reactions to this skit/clips is a guarenteed laugh from me. God-damn, that’s some funny stuff.

I like when Frankenstein wastes a minute of my time.

Also, whenever Raymond, the Preparation H guy shows up to seranade and pass out free samples, I’m laughing.

Finally, the Eisenhower coffee mug adventures are interesting to say the least.

Which, when it comes down to it, is the point and that’s why it’s funny. It’s mindless fun.

The staring contests of years gone by.
In the Year 2000…despite it being 2004. Love the stubborness of keeping it 2000.
And Cloppy. Cloppy is wonderful.

Oh, and driving the car is still a fun thing to watch.

He’s also showing Knight Rider clips along with the corny Walker: Texas Ranger clips(courtesy of *ahem* NBC/UNIVERSAL).

‘You look good for a guy that was just stung by scorpions!’ -some bitch on Walker Texas Ranger

The celebrity SECRETTTSSSSS is one of my fave recurring bits.

Best would be Harrison Ford, followed by Ron Howard.

“If celebrities mated” is by far the funniest bit. Some of those morphed images would make Quasimoto scream in horror!

Oh, forgot all about Secretsss!!! The George Takai (Mr. Sulu) one is the best.

“They say that Bill Shatner is a concieded horse’s ass, but in reality - he is a concieded horse’s ass.”

The “More You Know” spoofs are great.

I still remember one of Andy’s:
“Alimony, Schmalimony - I ain’t payin’ !!!”

Driving the Desk just isn’t the same with out Andy.

My Favorite is still the NBC Sattalite.

Or when he brings down the Talking heads for an interview. Every time Martha Stewart goes All Satan I’m rolling on the floor laughing.

And Triumph is hilarious..his walk around Hawaii for the American Idol Competition was a classic.

Shit, man, Secretssss! Those are great. I liked the Gweneth Paltrow one. “See, in Shakespeare in Love, I played a woman playing a man playing a woman. In real life, I’m a man playing a woman, playing a man, playing a woman. So, sorry to anyone who’s every beat off to me.” And the More You Know. God, I love this show.

Actually, anyone ever see the Vomiting Kermit often?

But I love “Frankenstein Wastes a Minute of Your Time”.

And when they do the bizarre sattelite channels, that’s always good.

Gwyneth: “I have a little ritual for good luck…every time I start a new role, I…kill a hobo with a hammer.”

Tom Hanks “The benefit of being known as the nicest man in Hollywood is that…no one looks in your backyard for bodies. MWAWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”
