OK, so it got the funny back tonight. I had a good laugh and hopefully bringing Doug back into the mix will keep it going. I’m going to miss Albert Brooks. He needs to do more stuff, nothing but gold.

I’m glad to see that the show can still whip out the funny despite the new direction that it’s taking. I’m sort of losing the satire, though, and for me, the show was at it’s height when it was still set in Agrestic.
Still, it’s to the show’s credit that it remains more than watchable despite the tonal shift.
Definitely a lot better this last episode. Hopefully it’s building steam.
Also, the tunnel I believe is for smuggling drugs and pulled from the headlines!!
I fucking loved the shot of the “family” around the dining room table. I was in stitches over how pathetic everyone looked. And I give it 2 episodes before Nancy fucks Mr. Mysterious Business Suit Man.
Yeah, they finally found their legs in the last two eps.

Julie Bowen is always nice. I’m very interested in the direction Doug and Andy are going.

Yeah he has grown. I forgot how old he is supposed to be on the show, but I think the actor is actually 21. A little too young for my tastes, but easy on the eyes for sure.
Echoing Kirby, glad to see the show find it’s legs again. I was beginning to get concerned. I think I may go back to watching this 2-3 episodes at a time (on Demand), as I tend to like the show better in blocs.
I read over at aintitcool, that they have 2 more confirmed seasons after this one.
Also, I’m totally done with Nancy. She just keeps getting more and more stupid as the show goes on. I hope they focus more on Andy and Doug’s adventures in Mexico.

I feel the same way . . . When the show started, she was charmingly naive and in over her head. Over time, it seems that her naivete has evolved into a severe brain injury.
Exactly. And I can’t believe they announced 2 more seasons. What else is she going to get into? Organ smuggling? Pandas? Unless this season amps it up this may be my last. I’m not a fan of the Mexico smuggling subplot (as far as Nancy is concerned)so far. But more Doug and Andy as Coyotes could be fantastic.
Someone, somewhere, is writing out there sexual fetishes/fantasies using Mary Botwin/Mary Louise Parker. We’ll see if she’s ballgagged and handcuffed for her spanking.
The [misadventures] of Senor Flippy-Flop, Andy, and Silas are indeed becoming more interesting than the main plot-line.

Silas is the man, Nancy is an idiot, Doug is comedy gold, Shane is a bit distubing.
This season is all over the fucking place. So Nancy fucks things up with Scarface, Silas apparently shaves his ass, Doug joins the Minutemen (awesome), and Shane masturbates to photos of his mom…Wtf?
Lee Majors was the head of the minutemen, how awesome was that!
I think the show should end now and we should have a Doug & Andy as smugglers spinoff.
I’ve got to echo the sentiment that Doug and Andy’s storyline is more interesting than Nancy’s. Though I do like the tragedy of Nancy in that she just can’t help but get herself in deeper with every endeavor she undertakes.
If this show wasn’t a comedy Nancy would already be dead. Her storyline is ridiculous in a bad way, while the adventures of Senor Flippy-Flop and the Toe-fucker are ridiculous in an awesome way.
