The My Name Is Earl mySpace page just put up the first ten minutes, and with a whole lot of Joy, it looks to be a pretty good start to the season.
Beautiful! One of my favorite shows on TV right now. I love the fact that the Ep has lots of Joy. She is such a great character. I think she has the most amazing lines ever on this show… and ones that only her character could get away with.

Yeah, really solid season premiere tonight. I’m curious to see what happens with Joy. It’s not like she’s just going to be in jail overnight. Also, why would she go to prison and not Earl?

great start to a new season. I’m thinking there will be at least a couple of episodes devoted to breaking Joy out of Prison. Or at least clearing her name.
Absolutely loved this premiere.
This continues to be one of the funniest 30-minute comedies on network TV in the last 10 years.
I think this show has become pretty predictable, shrill and laugh-free, actually. If that episode is the best that Season Two can offer, I think I’ll pass.

It’s kind of turned one-note for me. My wife still likes it, so I’ll keep watching it with her. There are one or two things every episode that get a laugh out of me. This week, it was the judge agreeing to crack Randy’s walnut.
As long as Jaime Pressly & Nadine Velazquez show up occasionally in bikinis, I’ll keep watching.
Burt Reynolds seemed unnecessary (they could have filled his role with anyone and gotten away with it) but this show still has me laughing every week.
I thought the best line is when Catalina and Joy are talking during prision visitation and Catalina says the line on her stomache is from her muscles not a caesarian section and Joy says that scar is from where her prom date stabbed her and she had all her babies naturally.
“I will not jump for Joy.”
Something tells me the wrote this entire episode solely so they could work that line in there.
I’m done with this show. Fuck you, Earl.
