Ditto.
He’s basically Steven Wright 2.0, but I like Steven Wright. So there.
I like Rodney Dangerfield lite…the guy with half a neck.
They didn’t take Pablo Fransisco, which sucks. If anyone has ever seen his Comedy Central special…he’s good.
Did anyone else think they were going to take the stripper, just because she was a stripper? Glad they didn’t, she wasn’t very good.
Watched some of the first night. Fucking painful. I thought the stripper actually had a couple good lines, actually. I think she was the only one I laughed at. My wife waited in line to audition for this, but they cut off for the night before she got in.
Too bad the comics the comedian judges actually like won’t get picked. The judges from last year were pretty vocal about being pissed that they were never told the producers get to vote as well. On more than one occassion, the comic the judges wanted got booted for more colorful and less talented contestants. Boo!
I thought for sure the “Old Hippie” was in. And he was actually pretty funny to boot.
My favorite though…the Italian Chick(Her name escapes me at the moment) that was having the huge personal crisis. Family member in the hospital I think. Damn…her set was hilarious.
The Worst was the Chick talking about how she would set up her wedding…absolutly BRUTAL.
Why the fuck did they take that faty lady that just yells and makes weird faces? She doesnt deserve the validation of even making it past the first round, let alone the second.
Especially when there were at least 5 funny comics from that first group standing on the sidelines when it was all over.
I would have liked to see the old hippie guy make it in, as opposed to the guy who wouldnt shut the fuck up about his cancer.
Man…alot of unfunny people got through.
Its got to be hard to tell a guy with cancer that he’s not funny.

No kidding. Especially in that first group that was picked in NY. I expected a lot of the people that went first to get through. I almost turned the channel when they picked the “boar” to get through. (You know, the larger, obnoxious lady that screams and makes faces.) I bet the only reason they want her in the house is because they know she would eventually eat another one of the contestants.
And what about the husband and wife duo? The husband was much funnier than his wife.

Exactly
I wanted Jim Wiggins to go further. We’ll see how this show goes.
What’s this about LCS being rigged?
Isn’t every reality show rigged?
The fact that Chris Voth didn’t get in immediately invalidates this show. His bit was the only one I laughed at and it was clear that he really knew what he was doing. It’s a shame. Same goes for Vladmir, I would’ve liked to see him in the house, he has a lot of charisma.
It is a shame the stripper wasn’t picked. She wasn’t especially good, true, but certainly no worse than the fat woman with the awful voice and stupid faces. If she had been chosen then we would at least have the hope of seeing her a couple of times prancing around the house in a bikini or maybe flashing folks. That wouldn’t hurt the ratings.
I felt that the thing seemed rigged from who made it. There were several that I thought were really funny that didn’t make the cut and the above mentioned woman making it, definitely made me question the validity of the show. Of course last year I was upset about Dave’s losing out. I thought that he was by far the funniest one on the show.
I repeat…

There are 8 votes per show – the 3 comedian judges and four producers.
Am I alone in hating the fact that the short and bald comedian that is on Colin Quinn’s Comedy Central talk show got through? I know that guy isn’t hurting for money…
last comic standing is the ONLY reality TV show i have ever watched… if you consider it a reality TV show. But the first season was awesome, and the second one will be better… i cans sense it.

My math may be off but doesn’t 3+4=7?
