Trailer! Puh-lease let this game not suck.
Crap. That trailer does not fill me with hope. Come on guys. You have 3 months left to work on it. Don’t fuck up.
I really don’t get what’s wrong with the trailer. The guy at Kotaku is worried about all the movie footage in the trailer. The actors’ voice work probably hasn’t been implemented yet, God forbid they attempt to advertise the thing that makes most people want to ply the game.

He was in that? Who was he playing?
The Girl Next Door 2007, not 2004. Veeeery different films.

Heh, I would love to see video of someone not making that distinction. “Wow, that Emile Hirsch looked so young in th…OH MY GOD!!”
Ohhhh, never mind then.
2007’s TGND version has a scene with a blowtorch that kept me up that night. It’s a great little film that manages to shock and disturb while relying on very little gore, but wow, talk about off topic.
The Manhattan exteriors look pretty great- definitely on par with GTA IV from what we see in the trailer. Since it’s a teaser, I can forgive the film footage. The intro could have been cleverer and more fun. Wasted opportunity.

Really? I think the graphics looks really good so far and there appears to be a lot of blasting. Sure, a lot of it looked like a recreation of the first movie but, hell, I’d be willing to deal with that as long as it’s fun.

Fuck fuck fuck. Does anyone even give a shit about the 25th anniversary of Ghostbusters?

I think the better question is does anybody not care about the 25th anniversary of Ghostbusters?
Fucking Activision. First Brutal Legend, now this? Fucking assholes. Maybe if Ghostbusters was just Call of Duty with different weapons. Unoriginal fucks.

I love the shit out of Ghostbusters (I’m talking Greg Clark levels of GB love), and I don’t really give a shit about the 25th anniversary.
This gives Sierra an extra year to tighten this thing up. There’s ZERO excuse for this to turn out less than quality.

What? No candlelight vigils in honor of the anniversary? No linking of hands 'round the family Ghostbusters tree while singing Ray Parker Jr.'s classic paean? No Ghostbusters pudding? No Roast Beast? Don’t tell me I’m the only one?!?

This is what annoys me the most. They are a huge mega-conglomerate publisher now. I would think that allows them to put out games OTHER than Tony Hawk 83 or Call of Duty 143. The fact that they have only chosen to publish the established franchise games is kind of sad and frustrating.
Wait, so did Brutal Legend get axed? If so, that sucks balls. I was really looking forward to that game and I was wondering why I haven’t heard much about it since it was announced.
Activision isn’t publishing it- I’m guessing due to the low sales of Psychonauts.
Goddammit. There go my plans for playing this game this Halloween season. I thought this thing was pretty much done.
There’s gotta be something more to this. It doesn’t make sense. Even this past week, we got a bunch of POP merch for this game from Activision. The game’s over half done and the buzz is huge. Why is it just now, three months from release, that they’re deciding they don’t want anything to do with it?
