PC is the only one I know about, since I heard of this via FilePlanet. Doesn’t mean there won’t be an Xbox demo available on the same day, it’s just that I wouldn’t be the guy to know.

I want this SOO, oh so badly… but my PC is 6 years old and I don’t own an X-Box. Hopefully it’ll be ported to PS2 at some point.

I’m interested on how their going to combine all 3 possible endings from the first game. I only got through the first DX once, the last portion is very difficult. (The ending I got was the “New Dark Age” one.)

Would anyone recommend picking up the original Deus Ex now?

I never played it but am certainly looking forward to this new release.

I highly recommend getting the first Deus Ex. Extremely compelling story, especially if you like conspiracy stuff, aliens, etc. Plus, for me at least, it’s one of those games I can keep coming back to. It never gets old.

* I’d guess a zero percent chance of a PS2 port of Deus Ex 2
* Requirements are posted on PlanetDeusEx. Relatively high.
* They aren’t going to combine all three endings.
* Deus Ex 1 is a great game, and imo worth picking up as long as you’re realistic about graphics, etc. Just remember that you don’t have to start off playing a sneaky type of character. That seems to have been most people’s inclination, leading to some frustration at the slower pace etc. Grab the GEP first thing and start blasting, that’s what I say.

Deus Ex 1 is probably the best 1st person game I’ve ever played. The sequel has big shoes to fill.

Can not fuckin wait. I’ll be getting up early tomorrow. My 9700 Pro is going to get stressed the fuck out.

Every human being with 2 hands should get the original. One of the best game story’s ever, and some of the branching story decisions you have to make are VERY compelling.

This thread made me a little nostagic, so last night I re-installed Deus Ex and started playing. What a great, open-gameplay game.

Someone be sure to post a link in here when and if we see the new demo posted online…

Geez, it’s still not out! Though, I’m not getting my hopes up- it might be one of those Fileplanet Exclusive deals, where you have to be a paid subscriber to download it.
