I like how on the commercial, this guy says ‘Fuck’ in all variations every single time they show him speaking.

I loved the promo they showed before Sopranos the other night. I’ll definitely be tuning in to this one.

Not sure if it’s gonna be a full series or not, but it will definitely have at least 13 episodes.

I thought it was great. The characters and tone of the story sort of reminded me of a Joe Lansdale western novel, such as The Magic Wagon or even Dead in the West.
After I watched the show it dawned on me that I’ve never heard the words “fuck” and “cocksucker” this many times in a sixty minute span in my entire life. I am forever changed.
I can’t believe this show isn’t getting more attention here at CHUD. I think it’s fantastic, and a great balls-out counterpunch to The Sopranos.

Fucking brilliant. If it lives up to its potential, then we are in for a treat. I love Sopranos to death, but this show is slowly edging up on it. Olyphant is the biggest badass on HBO at the moment.

I agree. Sopranos is in a category all its own, but Deadwood is carving its own niche as well. Ian McShane is rapidly becoming one of the greatest scenery-chewing villains in recent memory.
His scene in the doctor’s “office” was seemingly effortless and chilling. He’s going to be in a million movies, but it will be years before he plays the loving father of a rebellious teen.
Brad Dourif as a kind-hearted man that sticks to his principles? Bring it on. Very interesting casting. My love for John Hawks is growing as we speak.
