Chuck season 2 actually begins today. Online.
The season premiere doesnt actually start until next Monday, but at some point this morning NBC will have the first episode available to watch today.
I might have to watch this early this week.. and then watch it again in HD next week.
It’ll be interesting to see how this and some of the other freshman series from last year’s strike season do. I was reading an article on Sepinwall that basically said a lot of them are treating the first couple episodes of their new seasons as “new pilots,” either to re-introduce concepts (like with this) or to fix problems from last season (like with Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money).
The season 2 premiere is also available On-Demand for Comcast customers.
I just started watching this show but the episode is pretty good.
And the cute Nerd Herd chick is now a regular character in the show, as well as Chuck’s other co-workers.

The only thing with the end for me was that it highlights the problem with shows like this. Chuck is basically stuck at the Buy More despite the fact that he wanted to leave and was planning on getting out. And that shit can get old real fast.
Also available on On Demand on Charter cable and through Hulu as well. All of the early reviews I’ve read so far based on the first couple of episodes have been very favorable.
I may not get to it On Demand until later this week but for those of you haven’t watched the show at all you might want to check it out. EW’s Ausiello said that the first two episodes this season were as enjoyable as anything he’s ever seen on TV. That’s some nice praise there.

Considering how the first season didn’t really get a decent ending because of the greedy writers, I’m interested to see how they handle the reboot. I’m going to wait until the HD broadcast next week, though. Yvonne Strahovsky deserves HD.

Still I like Chuck too much to wait. So…I’ll get the episode twice and twice the Strahotski. Suits me fine indeed.
This new pilot is pretty much the show already. I was kind of hoping that the rumor of fast-forwarding two years would be true but alas. I also hoped that Morgan had died in a fire in the off-season. At least his new haircut makes him less punchable.
Very good premiere. They found a way to balance all the different elements of the show in a funny way. I’m glad they left Michael Clarke Duncan alive so he can be a recurring villain.
great “reboot” episode. I watched this on the “internet” NBC.com, but I’ll watch this in HD glory next week just to see the lovely Yvonne in her underwear.
And if you don’t laugh at the cereal box gag, there is something wrong with you. Probably the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while.

Chuck ep1 S2=greatness. Michael Clark Duncan was great as a rival spy. Now, who becomes the CIA director, after Tony Todd goes up in flames? Yvonne Strahovski is better looking without the milkmaid get up, though it was a humorous look. I am glad that there is a full season of…Chuck to talk about.
Good first episode back. I can’t wait for more. Although you have to wonder how many times they’re going to have to be this close to getting the intersect back together.
Still, great to have another entertaining show putting out new episodes.
Fantastic Show. This episode balances the action, Romance, and comedy in a near perfect mixture
Loved the Michael Clarke Duncan guest spot as well.
I hope the ratings are good 'cause this is easily my fave show on tv unless Fringe takes that spot. Well OK Lost is probably my favorite but this is certainly in the tope three.
And Yvonne Strahovski is THE best thing on network TV bar NONE.

I’d forgotten how much I liked this show. If Gossip Girl is all the bad things about The O.C./Josh Schwartz, this is all the good things about that show. I liked the Y: The Last Man shout-out on Chuck’s wall, too – I have a friend who insists that Levi needs to play Yorick.
Just as good the second time around. Still lovinng this show. Adam Baldwin is fantastic.

I caught the episode on On-Demand last week. It was pretty good but I liked most of the first season stuff better. The comedy is the key for this show and the episode wasn’t that funny. But I am very glad that it’s back. And I can’t wait for John Laro-I can’t spell his last name to join the cast.
I’m not really a fan of blonds but Yvonne Strahovski is just so damned beautiful it’s insane. *Insert joke about her guarding my body.
Charming, but I just can’t bring myself to like this show. The story has advanced zilch from last year to now. It feels like it should be a lot funnier or more charming or less predictable than it is. I want this show to be clever, but it’s just mildly diverting.
The Reagan bit was fairly hysterical, though.
