Sellers clears it.
11. The Pink Panther
Need more people.
Keep votin’ though, people.
If The Graduate doesn’t win this, I’ll eat my hat/kill the lot of you. Go.
Graduate coasts by on the strength of two songs (Silence and Robinson). There are better soundtracks on this list.
And Flyers, I’ll take another pairing if you’re still short.
For Dan Laugharn:
2. The Wizard of Oz
15. The King and I
For Poxy:
7. Singin’ in the Rain
10. Cabaret

Hmmm.
Interesting.
I’m going with Cabaret, and for one reason – its songs were intended to be a cohesive whole, while those in SITR were just ones MGM had the rights to and had to use before they expired.
Flyers, if you need more, I’ll take a double-dip.
For Z-Man:
7. Star Wars
10. King Kong
First off, King Kong has a great score. But this one’s pretty easy, if for nothing more than the emotional attachment. SW was the first album I ever owned (on 8-track, no less). Know what the second album I owned was? The disco remix of Star Wars by MECO. And there’s nothing in Kong to rival the tension of The Final Battle, or the rousing martial themes that begin and end the set, or the action-packed Tie Fighter Attack. But wait, you also get The Cantina Song, which still shows up on my mix tapes to this day. So SW it is.
For Rommel:
- The Sound of Music
- Pretty in Pink
Double dip me. Or don’t… whatever.
For 86:
5. Mary Poppins
12. Fantasia
I’m in for the duration. Gimme all you want.
Hit me with a second shot if it’s available
For Matt Carroll:
- Saturday Night Fever
- Taxi Driver
For Goldberg:
6. Pinocchio
11. Lawrence of Arabia

Another easy decision: Lawrence of Arabia

Nice! Two 1-16 games for me so far!
Although PIP brings back lots of fond memories and is a soundtrack I can listen too often, The Sound of Music takes it.
