Co-starring Bruce Campbell as Sam Axe…
What the? Anyone hear anything:
They’ve had the same promo on a few times in between the 20 episodes of Law & Order: SVU per day and commercials for the Starter Wife. Despite the repeated ads, I had no clue Campbell was involved. Way to market USA!
Yeah, I just saw an ad for this today. Has some people I like in it, so I will check it out.
I liked the other USA show the lead was in a couple years ago…the one that introduced most of us to the subtle hotness that is vera farmiga.
but I REALLY had no idea the Bruce was in this. WTF?

Yeah, Bruce plays the main character’s old buddy. The whole thing seems pretty standard so far.
That and the lady who wasn’t Tyne Daly on “Cagney & Lacey” shows up.
Holy shit. I too have seen the ad ad nauseum watching old SVU episodes and am now shocked, SHOCKED!, to hear Bruce Campbell is in it. While I’m not a huge fan of Monk, I do rather enjoy Psyche and Dead Zone which leads me to believe (and hope) this won’t suck.
Plus, it has Bruce Campbell.
Even though he was in Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2, I like that lead guy. Always wanted to see that Touching Evil show he was in.
Bruce Campbell is either a blessing, or a warning. If he’s just acting in it, it’s a blessing.
God help us if he’s a producer or director.
All the billboard ads for this make it look like one of those fake shows used to actually sell some other product, like shaving cream or laundry detergent.
Just to remind everyone, this starts tonight at 10 and runs for 90 minutes, I believe…
Kind of bad that the only two people that I want to watch this for are Sharon Gless and Bruce Campbell.

Yeah, Touching Evil was great for Donovan’s performance and for Farmiga.
I kinda liked it, could have used more Bruce. I’m gonna give it a couple of more episodes, to see how it all works out.
I thought it was entertaining. For some reason, I’ve been thinking the last few days that the show was going to be a “Desolation Jones” rip-off. Overall, pretty good. I just wish they would stop with all the location shots as if to say, “See! We’re actually filming on-location in Miami!” What is it with shows supposedly based in Miami feeling the need to keep showing filler shots of young “pretty” people standing around in little clothing/partying/etc. and Miami’s archaic architecture?
Despite Campbell who I normally dislike, but was okay here, I liked this a lot. Donavon was great.
It was alright. Hated the filler stuff with the random shots of people walking on the beach and random buildings.
The sub plot with the drug dealer was pretty good. Although he’s already straying into Macguyver territory.
I rather enjoyed. It feels a bit…smug? Something like that. But still entertaining. The lead is charming enough to carry the spy shennanigans for at least a season or 2. And Bruce is looking old. Old old.
I liked it, but something was off. It feels like it’s still trying to find it’s style in the pilot. Hopefully the next couple of episodes get that ironed out.
Campbell was sort of lost here, but he was still good.
I liked the part with the kids and the FBI guy in the car.
Matchstick is just interested in this show because he’s aware of the presence of Anwar.
