Still better than all of the Batman movies.
Dina Meyer is still a hottie.

That’s both too funny and too accurate.
Dina Meyer is hot.
I thought Mia Sara was good as Harley Quinn (yea, i know that is it Dr. Harleen Quinzell in the show, but fuck it).
I know it seemed kind of hokey and quickly put together, but I think they are trying to find the right style. The producers still make the kickass show, Smallville, which deserves oh so much praise and appreciation.
I want Hamill to make more voice cameos, and I want darker villians. DARK I tell you.
I really want a crossover show with Smallville.
That was… unfortunate. Now I remember why I didn’t know which channel WB was…
Absolute and utter gah-bage.
The only mere seconds worth looking at were seeing the still way-hot Mia Sara and her incredible legs.
Other than that…blecch. WHy does Warner Bros. bother when they are this clueless about their own goldmines/franchises?
Sell them and DC to someone who gives a fuck.
That Superman script is starting to sound good…
Craptacular!
Well mediocre at best but certainly not “craptacular.” I’m willing to give the show a few more go’s.
Interestingly enough, Sherilyn Fenn played Harleen in the original pilot.
It was weird and yeah bad cheeta scream effect.
Dina Meyer was great in this I thought.
It was a real mixed bag and I’m not impressed but not really dissapointed either cuz for WB this isn’t that bad. However it wasn’t that strong of an opening episode so I think it could be downhill from here.
Yeah seems kinda like Charmed so far. We’ll see what happens but i’ll stay tuned if it does nothing for me i’ll stop watching after the 3rd week prolly same thing happened with Witchblade.
Aw damn, that was some raunchy bad stuff. Stupid writing and tacky looking. What secret identity are they talking about? The dumbass Dark Angel clone cat chic runs around without any mask or any obvious attempt to hide herself. The flashback scenes with Batman and the Joker were pitifully bad and poorly shot. Those Onstar comericals from a year ago were better done than this shit. I can’t recall the last time I saw this much bad cgi in a TV show. Damn! Enterprise, move over, you are no longer the worst genre show on television.
Unbelievably lame. Made me appreciate Smallville.
To the “Ah, this isn’t that bad” guys:
I’m curious…how could this show be worse?
That was one of the worst pilots I’ve ever seen.

Add Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze…more talkng…George Clooney…David Schwimmer as the Scarecrow…Delta Burke as Harleene…
Also suggestion for the next episode… Less cripple, more nipple.

Are you mad? That would’ve IMPROVED the show.
That “scarecrow” was such a weak villain, even Schwimmer would’ve been better.
Clooney would’ve only been in it for 5 seconds with his back to the camera. Mr. Freeze would’ve been a better villain than what they had.
I’ll give you points for the Delta Burke suggestion. As I said, Mia Sara was the only thing that kept me from taking out contracts on the cast and crew.
What I wonder is how different the original pilot was, because I keep seeing good reviews for it. Could it be that much different? I know they reshot a bunch of stuff, not just the Sherilyn Fenn scenes.
My eyeballs still haven’t forgiven me.
Any show that uses Doom sound effects next to die quickly.
And I sincerely apologize for even bringing a tiny amount of attention to that fetid steaming pile of a pilot by starting this thread.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to hop over to AICN and kidnap Herc, tie him up and arrange him in front of a screen, Clockwork Orange-style, and force him to watch this series twenty-four-seven.
And no eyedrops…

It could have been a two hour pilot rather than the odd seventy minutes that it was.
Holy crap. Having seen the commercials and being posessed of a functioning brain, I knew Birds of Prey was going to be a shit sandwich served hot, but damn. I didn’t expect it to be the unwatchable tripe you guys are making it out to be.
Now I actually want to see the pilot, as I get a perverse enjoyment out of watching people fail spectacularly at something they put a lot of effort into. And yes, I know it’s mean. I can’t help it.
