After 8 long years “Will and Grace” is leaving the air tonight. This may be the last chance for any of us to recount our favorite moments from the nearly 100 hours of comedy it has provided. I’ll go first.
I remember one time I was watching “Conan O’Brien” and they showed an ad for an upcoming episode of “Will and Grace.”
What are some of your most beloved moments from the show?
I’ll always remember that time they had that big-name celebrity on there who was playing a character that was an inronic twist on his public image. Shows like The War at Home could learn something from this piece of amazing.
I remember that episode where Will, even though he’s gay and would never possibly hook up with Grace, tries to get her to revolve her entire life around him.
I don’t think I’ve ever sat thru an entire episode of Will and Grace…but I decided to watch the final episode…and after a half hour I realized that I hadn’t miss a damn thing in 8 years.
Oh and just think about this…NBC balked at a West wing retrospective because the actors wanted money…But something tells me the cast of Will and Grace got whatever they wanted to waste a hour talking about how groundbreaking their show was.
Oh yeah…as bad as that 70’s show was this season…their finale was more entertaining than the finale of will and grace.
A show people didn’t watch… yet criticize… about gay people… homophobia?
I’m not going to defend this show for anything, but, I mean, it’s network television. How is this any better or worse than Wings, or Coach, or Night Court or Hunter, or Family Matters, or Full House, etc.
